Computer Technician:

Job Summary:

Under minimal supervision provides front-line support to end users forinstallation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computers, laptops and printers. This support may be provided on-site or remotely as needed. Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations and printers. Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment.

Key responsibilities:

Repair and preventative maintenance of Computers, Laptops and Printers, mobile phones, Kiosks.

Exchange server support highly desired.

Workstation patch Management

Desktop and application troubleshooting

Communicates highly technical information to both technical and non-technical resources

Interacts with numerous resolver groups to restore service and/or identify core problems

Responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of customer satisfaction according to defined policies.

Trains end-users on software packages and standard IT procedures as required

Participates in new application rollouts, testing and special Projects as needed

Troubleshoots software and hardware failures

Interacts daily with supervisor, peer groups, Service Desk and customers

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

Mobile phone support experience required.

Microsoft Exchange support experience required.

GED/High school diploma.

Ability to pass background check.

Must be capable of providing support for desktops, laptops and printer repair.

Strong oral/written communication and customer interface skills a necessity

ITIL V3 Foundations certifications desired but not required.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel

Strong Motivational skills

Excellent planning/time management skills

Excellent client-facing skills

Location of work is Montclair, CA.

Physical Requirements:

Candidate must be able to carry and lift up to 40 lbs.
