CUSTOM CLASS - You can register to take the same class as those taking the class for credit; however, you will be enrolled as a noncredit continuing education student. You will receive the same instruction as credit students but will not receive a grade or transcript.

Experience the world by studying another language

Do you want to learn a new language or improve your existing skills? Whether studying a world language is a personal goal or a professional necessity, we can help!

Intensive Language Courses help you improve your ability to communicate in a new language by applying the four language skills – listening, speaking, writing, and reading. Over a 15-week semester, you will exchange, interpret, and present information in different tenses and contexts.

These courses are co-enrolled with credit language students and include regular homework and assessments, pass/fail grades, and a lab component. All Intensive Language Classes require the use of the online course delivery system Canvas for access to supplemental materials, course content, assignments, and tests and quizzes. For online courses, the lab component will be delivered via online conferencing.
