On a snowy day in Istanbul, Zübeyde Ana ghosts past the tranquil waters off Haydarpaşa Train Station. The 112-foot tug works the waters of the Bosphorus, where cruise ships crowd the Salipazari-Karaköy docks. The scarlet red Zübeyde Ana is a familiar sight for ship spotters of the Bosphorus and Dardanelles. The vessel was named after a woman whose son is perhaps the largest figure in Turkish history. Zübeyde Hanim was the mother of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Featured at Saatchi Art - https://www.saatchiart.com/print/Painting-Z-beyde-Ana/1570335/7601435/view
